LABIOPLASTY

LABIOPLASTY

Labiaplasty is an aesthetic surgical intervention performed to correct the sagging of the inner lips of the female genital organ (labium minus) due to the trauma of congenital or multiple births and the name given to this surgery. Labiaplasty surgery is generally defined as the surgery to reduce and aesthetically correct the inner lips that are congenital or enlarged, elongated, darkened, sagging or irregular in adolescence. Sometimes it can be done because one lip part, which we call "labial asymmetry", is longer or different than the other. Inner lip structure: It has a rich structure of blood vessels. The shape, shape, color and length are different in every woman. It has a hairless structure. It is effective in the arousal phase during sexual intercourse. The nerve endings on its surface provide this arousal stage. Thanks to the oil and sweat glands it contains, the slipperiness and wetness of the vagina is provided during sexual intercourse. Labiums, which are very effective in closing the vaginal opening, protect the vagina against infections, especially in childhood. Labiaplasty surgery is performed by gynecologists and plastic surgery physicians who have developed themselves in this field. However, training on genital aesthetic surgeries is not included in the specialization process of physicians. Therefore, many physicians strive to improve themselves with individual efforts. In order to avoid problems after the operation, the physician who will perform the surgery must be knowledgeable and experienced in this field. It is advantageous for gynecologists to know the anatomy and physiology of the genital area. It is usually a structural condition that small lips are too large to be covered with large lips. So it is related to genetic structure. For some reason it is very common in our society. We pass on this situation from generation to generation. I do not know what its origin is. I do not know whether it was irritation and mutation as a result of being a nomadic society or riding a lot. It is a procedure that can be done within 30 minutes with local anesthesia. However, general anesthesia can be applied to sensitive people, that is, people who cannot feel comfortable with local anesthesia.

There should be no menstruation during the procedure. Because it is ultimately a surgical procedure, all precautions should be taken against infection. If there is menstruation, the hygiene of the operation area may not be fully protected due to bleeding. Post-procedure complications are usually not seen. Complications such as infection, tissue damage and bleeding are possible complications after all surgical procedures. For this reason, labiaplasty should be applied by a specialist physician under sterile conditions and in health institutions with the necessary equipment. Post-operative bleeding is not expected, rarely, only a slight bleeding in the form of leakage and spotting on the suture line can be seen. In the first days after surgery, the vulva may be swollen, red and sensitive due to edema. Cold compress application as recommended by your physician provides removal of edema in the area. The stitches will fall off within 10 days. Paying attention to toilet cleaning is sufficient. Even in normal condition, toilet cleaning should be done from front to back. Turkish bath and pool are prohibited for 15 days. Likewise, the possibility of excessive moisture and the risk of infection from places such as public baths and pools is very high. Sexual intercourse is prohibited until the stitches are removed. There is no age limit,You can contact us for Labioplsti (inner labia aesthetics) that we apply in Angelus Aesthetica center for people whose quality of life is impaired due to sagging of the inner lips or whose surgery has become a medical necessity due to excessive sagging of the inner lips.
